Earlier this year, Lafarge and several other French companies belonging to the France-Philippines United Action (FPUA) committed to aiding families rendered homeless by super typhoon Yolanda in Daanbantayan, Cebu.
In May, Lafarge and FPUA delivered on this promise, with the first of 75 units of disaster-resilient houses that will make up the French Village already turned over to its new owners.
